Having trouble managing your time? Try this: pick 5 things you want to focus on during the week and place them on buckets. Now decided by rank how much time you’d like to spend on each bucket. 1-2 hours on monday? 3-4 on friday? Then write yourself up a daily calendar. DON’T FORGET TO MAKE TIME FOR YOU!
I’m turning to my followers. Most “role model weight loss blogs” try to make themselves look perfect, spotless, angels that never make mistakes when it comes to diet and exercise… Well, I’m not going to pretend I don’t mess up. I fall, I stumble, and I screw up. Lately I’ve been struggling with Emotional/Stress Bingeing. The last week has been very rough for me and I’ve had a problem with turning to food as therapy. I have to remember those 4 dinner rolls are not my therapist nor are they the solution to my underlining problems. I need to find a way to overcome this without engaging in self-destructive behavior. I know I’m not the only one struggling out there in Tumblrland. Lets get through this together! Who’s with me and what are your strategies?
Not all calories are created equal.To lose weight you want to maximize the amount of nutrients in every calorie you consume. Word of caution: it also matters how you’re preparing your food. Any healthy food can take a turn for the worst if you fry it. Foods should be eaten raw, steamed, grilled, poached, baked, or broiled. Frying automatically drops even the best foods into your worst nightmare.
